I posted this in the men’s hoops forum, but I think it deserves a more prominent post as well.

First of, let me preface by saying that I’m personally going to purchase at least 2 bricks… one for myself and my family, and one in the memory of my dad. I would also encourage everyone who wants to and is able to to purchase their own brick as well! However, I realize that the $165 entry point for a brick is a little steep for some people… which is why I’m proposing that we “pool” our money in order to purchase a brick (or bricks) in the name of the Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com community!

I have set up a campaign at pledgie.com to make it as easy to pledge and as easy to track as possible! All you need to do is click here and make your pledge! I’ve set up the initial campaign to end on 12/31/2009… however, I’ve been informed that bricks will be available for purchase for a couple of years, so if response is good, I plan on starting another campaign for the 2010 calendar year!

Please understand that NO AMOUNT is too small to help! If you can only spare $5 right now, that’s a great start! Let’s put our collective name in the new Falcon Spirit Plaza outside the Stroh Center!!
