Bowling Green had a men’s varsity lacrosse program from 1965 to 1979 that was one of the most successful lacrosse programs in NCAA history, with a winning percentage of over 75%. The team competed in the Midwest Lacrosse Association that included Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State and Denison. Denny Vereb and Mike Wilcox organized a lacrosse reunion on October 24, 2009 and over 50 players returned to the BGSU campus to renew friendships and share Falcon lacrosse memories. John Bowen, class of 1974, produced the following video to commemorate the memory of lacrosse at Bowling Green.
