100 years of sports at BGSU event! 4/23/2010 (UPDATED with PDF Link)
Man, I wish I could be there for this event… but I’m in Columbus for a seminar. Someone please go and I’ll let you guest-blog about it on here!! This is TOMORROW at Anderson Arena.
A reception will be held from 4-5:45 p.m. in Anderson Arena. Students from sport management classes will present a historical perspective of men’s and women’s current and former athletic teams at BGSU. Mickey Cochrane, former lacrosse and soccer coach and current athletic archivist, will open the doors of the BGSU Athletics Archives during the reception.

Really wish I could make it but I just received the e-mail today and already had plans. Wish they would have gotten this info out a little sooner!
To their credit, it’s not an Athletic Department event, per se… it’s being put on by the BGSU School of Human Movement, Sport and Leisure Studies.
Oh I completely understand. I just get frustrated when we put on events that are intriguing and great for BG and no one knows about it. I had to go to the SMRT website to find the only real mention of this on BGSU.edu.
