To make it easier for those who are inclined to watch and listen to the press conference but haven't yet, it can be found here:

or here:

What a wonderfully articulate woman! I should have known that from her post game radio interviews, but she really shines here.

Go Jennifer!
Go Falcons!

I happened to catch this press conference live. I have seen a number of these and many in recent memory were quite good. Clawson, Bergeron and Tomich come to mind. The live element makes it pretty interesting as they prepare for the event, people gather, the new coach arrives etc.

Coach Roos just flat out nailed the whole press conference. Extremely impressive. Her prepared remarks (not much time to prepare them!) were right on point. She hit everything and delivered the messages well. Her answers to the press were right on target and on point yet very natural. I commend the dept for a thorough search and what appears to be a very good outcome. A true Falcon right there at the podium. It's just the first day, but what a super first day!

Seems like the team is thrilled and Coach Roos is ready to hit the recruiting trail immediately. Big next step will be finding her assistants both in getting the right fit and the right ideas. She spoke about this in response to a question. Looking forward to her tenure!

Go Falcons!

Any chance some former players (Ali, Kate, Megan...) end up as assistants under Coach Roos?

Looks like a certain former head coach here hopes that happens, saw this on Curt's facebook page earlier today in one of his posts

There certainly is a chance a former player or two will end up on Jennifer's staff. She did mention that she had some people in mind, but would talk to their boss ie the head coach first. I am sure she will be busy the next few weeks. Recruiting and getting a staff together will take time. She needs to be visible on the recruiting trails, now not as an associate head coach, but as the head coach. Hopefully she can re-assure potential recruits that Bowling Green is still the place they want to go to school and play basketball. They had a big recruiting day during the season, 5 of their top recruiting targets were at the EMU game. I'm excited to see what Jennifer can do as a head coach. I am very excited about the future of BG women's basketball. We are in very good hands. Together We Attack.

Together we attack, and in the meantime together we wait anxiously.

Maybe waiting anxiously but still attacking! I think we're gonna keep rollin' along with Coach Roos.

If this was already posted about Coach Roos's hiring, I apologize. I looked, but didn't find it on any thread.

Great article from Dave Hackenberg:
