I just realized I didn't have my bio up on here. This may be redundant as I think I've pretty much covered all my personal info on other forums, but I'll do this anyway.

Got here in 1979...graduated in 1985...took a detour to UT for a year or so in 1982. I hold a BA in English with a minor in RTVF. At one point I wanted to do radio....at one point I wanted to be a cowboy, fireman and porn star too. Missed on all of them.

I've been employed in a number of different industries. I've been a Loss Prevention Manager for a couple of store chains, a claims rep for a couple of insurance carriers, a salesman for a few different companies, a sales manager for a few insurance companies and now I'm a Financial Advisor in partnership with my wife, Pam.

Yes, I work with my spouse.....My wife and I have a unique relationship. On our first date we sat and talked until 2 am. We haven't shut up since. We can be really annoying to be around because of that....at least we don't smell.

We have a daughter named Laurel Ashley. She's three and she loves BG sports. She even sings "Forward Falcons" when the band plays it on NCAA Football 2005. She literally begs me to play that game on the PS2. I'm going to teach her how to read a safety this fall.

There have been about six incidents in my life that theoretically should have killed me. I would think I'm a reincarnated cat, but they make me sneeze and I'm extremely jealous of their ability to lick themselves.

You neglected to mention Laurel's current fascination with trains.

Ah yes...the trains, the trains...if you ask my daughter a question, any question, be prepared to hear about the numerous freight trains that have crossed her path of late. I have no idea what this fascination is rooted in. She's also become very interested in the parody of "Ocean's Eleven" that is on the latest SCTV DVD release. "Maudlin's Eleven" has become quite an influence. She's gone so far as to tell me that she's "planning a heist".

If nothing else, she has impeccable taste in sketch comedy.

Our six dogs eat a far more balanced diet than I do. We have six of the little devils. Four Pomeranians ranging in size from about 5 lbs to just over 10lbs, and two 12 year-old Shelties that weigh about 22lbs each. One of the poms is a show dog....the other show pom has developed some sort of medical problem that lead to him losing 90% of the fur on his body. his legs and head are normal, his body looks terrible. Can't show a dog that looks like a mangy rat...the judges are so uptight!

Anyway, we feed them a rather odd diet. In the mornings they eat a small amount of an oatmeal like substace mixed with yougurt and some vegetables. at night, they eat a mixture of ground beef and a powdered supplement. When we started them on this "natural" diet we had three dogs. They were all a minimum of 20% overweight. once then they are a perfect weight. Since we're dealing with small animals, the cost of this diet is in line with other premium foods like a Biljac or whatever. Our vet thinks we're a little odd.

The 25th would be a tough date...but we'd be open to talking at some time after that. It sounds like fun....

The closest call happenend when I rolled my Ford Fiesta a few times including what was probably an end over end. I fractured a vertebrae or two on that one, but was otherwise unscathed.

Odd fact: The cassette in my tape player at the time of the crash? "Road to Ruin" by the Ramones. Whne the car finally came to a rest, the tape had been ejected and Eddie Rabbit's "Driving my Life Away" was playing on the radio.

Clearly...I should have been killed in that one. You don't get a btter soundtrack than that.

Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff" was playing just before I flipped my truck once end-over-end then twice side-to-side. But I did land it on the tires....what was left of them....

No, I think it's safe to say you don't. I am glad that you came out of that (mostly) unhurt. I don't remember what was playing in my any of my accidents. My last one I was talking to my (then) girlfriend, so the radio wasn't very loud. Wasn't my fault though, guy turned left into my car. The funniest part about the whole thing, my (then) g/f had just been in a accident about 2 weeks eariler. Maybe she was just bad luck?

Wow... I feel like such an amateur. My family only has five dogs. Of course, the smallest is a 40lb Australian shepherd, so in total weight, I might have more dogs
None of ours show though. Three of the five are rescued from the pound.

We now have 8 dogs..two cats...and a raccoon or two that eat the cat food we leave on the porch.....

I dont think you ever got credit for the hilariousness of the last update. I can honestly say, not to nock anyone else on here but other then Grant you are the person that I would most like to meet in person from these boards. I will put it on the bucket list.

GT...the one thing I truly miss about tailgating withthe AZZ cerew is the chance to see and meet everyone. If you're coming up for a game next year, I'll definitely be around

Next year?... I don't do midweek games...it's just too much to deal with logistically. I miss seeing everyone though, so...I'll be back. Unless I switch allegiances to the Seina Heights Saints of the Wolverine-Hoosier Conference.
