Well, I've implemented the ranking-by-posts system. Here's how I broke it down to start.

1 - 150 posts -- Egg
151-299 posts -- Chick
300 - 499 posts -- Fledgling
500 - 999 -- Peregrine
1000+ posts -- User gets to define their own ranking.

I will be associating icons with the new ranking system soon.

How about hatchling?

Just trying to avoid gender-identity issues (although my wife is a psychologist, so it could be good for business...)

You see, that's what's wrong with people (no offense 87). People attach gender to a word that HAS no gender and then take offense at it. Chick is a young bird... It could be male, it could be female. BAH...

I'll probably change it though...

It's not really political correctness so much as showing my age! I guess I'm also waiting for fans from other MAC boards coming in and seeing all us chicks.

In the end, it doesn't matter to me. The one advantage of age is losing the ability to get embarrassed. I'm almost 40, have a mortgage and two kids. If chick is the worst thing I'm called this week, it's gonna be a good week.

Oh, I forgot to tell you. Those icons you sent me a while ago were in pretty bad shape as far as trying to make them look good against a brown background. I'll try to create something better sometime. :D

I was planning on playing with a string of 5 of the new falcon heads and "turning them on" or muting them out....know what I'm saying? Yeah, I'm sure you do. ;-)
