Freshman Jordan Roussos was a dominant dual-sport athlete in high school and hopes his wrestling skills won’t be forgotten as he embarks on a football career at BG. Roussos, a defensive lineman, expects to redshirt but is willing to play if necessary. He’s not as open-minded, though, when it comes to debating over which state’s high school wrestling is the best in the country.
Four-year starter Jahmal Brown has started all but two games in his career and has been one of the more sure tacklers on the team. Still, he would like to add to his career total of one interception while helping to make Dave Clawson’s first season at BG a success.

Warren Ruggiero took an assistant coaching job at Defiance College in 1989. Twenty years and several jobs later he returns to Ohio as BG’s offensive coordinator. Ruggiero praises quarterback Tyler Sheehan and also marvels at the “freak” he coached last year at Kansas State.
